On the Ground, In the Community, With Love
For over 30 years, members of Torchlight have been on the ground — building trust, responding to need, and walking alongside the community. The Torchlight Engagement Team is the living extension of that legacy. We are frontline workers, deeply rooted in Boston’s neighborhoods, showing up with love, respect, and zero judgment.
Our relationships run deep, and our presence is constant. Whether it’s responding to crises, connecting someone to detox, handing out Narcan, or just listening to them, we are there, every day, because the community already knows us. From harm reduction to housing support, the Engagement Team provides life-saving, relationship-driven services where they’re needed most.

Rooted in Love. Powered by Trust.
Our work begins with presence — being seen, known, and consistent. We meet people where they are with no judgment and a whole lot of care. Our team members often have lived experience and deep community ties, which makes the engagement real, relational, and restorative.
